Imagine this: you are on a long drive, the sun is setting, and suddenly your car refuses to start.
Eleven years ago, that moment of panic was the problem we set out to solve. Not just for ourselves, but for everyone. What started as a simple mission to help people get moving again has grown into something far bigger.
From a Single Battery to a Digital Mobility Ecosystem
Today, as Bateriku.com enters its 12th year, we look back on a journey defined by people, perseverance, and purpose and on a year, 2025, that marked one of our most transformative chapters yet.
Built the Old-Fashioned Way: People First, Always
In our early days, the idea of a “startup” was exciting. We dreamed of a fully digital platform for automotive spare parts. But reality taught us something important: technology alone does not build, trust of the people do.
So we went door to door. We answered calls personally. We delivered batteries ourselves.
For years, Bateriku grew through real, human interactions. Every breakdown, every conversation, every roadside rescue reinforced one truth: people trust people first. That people-first mindset became the foundation of everything we built.

Brick and Mortar Transforming into a Digital Platform
As Bateriku grew, so did our understanding of scale and sustainability. We realised that relying purely on manual processes would eventually limit our impact. Digitalisation was not about replacing human touch. It was about strengthening it.
We began digitising logistics, inventory management, service coordination, and customer support. This allowed us to build an efficient order fulfillment network on the ground while giving our teams better tools to perform. Workshops gained more value-added support. Technicians worked smarter. Customers received faster, more reliable service.
This was the turning point. Bateriku was no longer just a roadside assistance provider. We were evolving into a digital platform that connected fragmented parts of the automotive industry into one functioning system.

2025: A Defining Year in Our 11-Year Journey
Our 11th year marked a powerful leap forward. In 2025, we strengthened our digital foundation through a strategic partnership with ACO Tech, accelerating our transformation into a technology-driven mobility enabler.
This partnership allowed us to move beyond emergency roadside services and into shaping the entire vehicle ownership experience (VOE). Predictive maintenance, data-driven insights, and smarter service coordination are no longer ideas for the future. They are actively being built today.

Collaboration became a key pillar this year:
- We signed an MOU with UiTM MASMED and Politeknik Sultan Azlan Shah to empower future entrepreneurs and professionals.
- Partnered with Carsome and Econili to broaden ecosystem impact.
- Became a provider of Ryde EV battery swap stations, supporting EV adoption.
- Launched a refreshed Bateriku Digital, built to accelerate industry-wide digitalisation.
- Introduced GGR Batteries by Bateriku alongside GGR Motor’s first electric motorcycle, the Lion G1. The partnership positions Bateriku as a key technical support and after-sales provider with over 250 Pitstops nationwide, reinforcing its role in Malaysia’s growing EV ecosystem.

2025 was also a year of strong industry presence. We actively participated in key exhibitions and conferences to share insights, learn from peers, and form meaningful partnerships. These included:
- Automotive Electrical & Electronics Malaysia Summit (AEMS) 2025
- Automechanika Kuala Lumpur 2025
- Smart City Expo Kuala Lumpur 2025
- SME Bank Xcess 2025
- Global Automotive and Technology Expo (GATE 2025)
- Fusecon 2025
- International Conference on Quality & Innovation (ICQI) 2025
- VentureTECH Innovation Forum and Exhibition 2025 (VIFE 2025)
- MARA Automotive Ecosystem 2025 (MATEC)
- Alignment with Malaysian Standards
On the global stage, Bateriku proudly represented Malaysia at the World Expo 2025, while actively participating in multiple expos and exhibitions locally to connect with industry leaders and innovators.

ASTRA: Raising Industry Standards
One of our biggest milestones this year was the launch of ASTRA, hosted at our warehouse. A symbol of how far we have come.
The launch was officiated by YBhg. Datuk Hanafi Sakri, Deputy Secretary General (Industry) of the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), alongside YBhg. Datuk Omar Syariff Mydeen, Chairman of SIRIM Q.A.S International Sdn. Bhd., and Ts. Encik Md. Adha Rahmat, CEO of SIRIM Q.A.S International Sdn. Bhd.
The event also received strong support from industry partners and agencies, including representatives from MARA, PUNB Auto Pro, Petronas Auto Expert, Mannol Malaysia, and Lubrex Malaysia.
ASTRA represents our commitment to quality, compliance, and innovation:
- SIRIM-certified for all SKUs
- First Quality Lab “Makmal Hijau” to maintain standards
- Comes with GPA Takaful under Biru Insurtech
- Nationwide warranty coverage
Where standards once did not exist, we are helping define them. Not through regulation, but by solving real problems on the ground.

Seeing the Real Opportunity: Fixing a Fragmented Industry
The mobility industry serves millions of vehicle owners every day, yet much of it remained informal, disconnected, and outdated. Workshops operated in silos. Spare parts distribution lacked transparency. Data was scattered or non-existent.
Like how people often mistake McDonald’s as only a fast-food company when its real strength lies in real estate, we realised something similar about our own business. The real opportunity was not just batteries. It was digitalisation.
The industry needed a backbone. A system that connected workshops, suppliers, logistics partners, insurers, and customers. So instead of competing within fragmentation, we chose to build the ecosystem.
We asked ourselves: What if breakdowns could be predicted before they happen? What if workshops, tow trucks, and technicians could operate with world-class efficiency? What if Malaysia and Southeast Asia became a global benchmark for digital mobility infrastructure?
That is the future we are building toward.

What’s Next: RSA.my, Our SaaS Platform
In 2025, we quietly began preparing for one of our most important launches yet, RSA.my.
RSA.my is our SaaS platform, built from years of real operational data, field experience, and collaboration with workshops and mobility partners. It is designed to help roadside assistance operators, workshops, and mobility players run smarter, faster, and more profitably.
While we are not revealing everything just yet, RSA.my will focus on smarter roadside assistance management, better job allocation and response efficiency, data-driven insights for operators and partners and seamless integration between services and fulfillment.
RSA.my is not built in theory. It is built from the ground up, shaped by thousands of real roadside cases and operational challenges across Malaysia.
Empowering Partners Through Our Digital Partner (Bateriku Affiliate Program)
Alongside our SaaS journey, we expanded opportunities for entrepreneurs and businesses through our affiliate program that we called Bateriku Digital Partner. This program allows partners to grow with us by becoming part of our digital ecosystem.
Whether it’s workshops, service providers, business partners or even individual, the affiliate program is designed to create shared value, not one-sided growth. We began this initiative with Petronas MESRA. To date, more than 100 MESRA outlets have been onboarded, helping support stranded car owners at Petronas stations nationwide. It reflects our belief that ecosystems only work when everyone benefits.

Advancing Convenience with FATIN AI
Bateriku also introduced FATIN, an AI‑powered virtual assistant designed to transform the traditional car battery service experience by replacing rigid IVR menus with natural, multilingual voice interactions that understand and respond to customer requests directly. Fatin streamlines the entire on‑demand service process from scheduling battery replacements and checking stock to dispatching technicians.
Currently at the final stage of testing with Bateriku’s 24/7 Contact Centre, FATIN is expected to increase operational efficiency and reduce errors once fully deployed, enhancing our nationwide customer experience.
Beyond facilitating battery service, FATIN is evolving into a predictive car concierge that proactively monitors vehicle health data to send personalised reminders before issues like battery failure arise, helping customers plan preventive care. Integrated with Bateriku’s backend systems and ecosystem of workshops, technicians, logistics, and financial processing, Fatin not only connects drivers to the right services but also supports broader vehicle maintenance tasks and enhances overall car ownership with reduced breakdown risk and improved reliability.
Powered by People, Driven by the Future
None of this happened overnight. It was built through the sweat and resilience of our BHeroes, BBuddies, Bpreneurs, and our ever-growing team, the people behind the platform who continue to push boundaries every day.

We believe local companies can build world-class platforms. We believe roadside assist can evolve into predictive mobility solutions. And we believe digital infrastructure is the key to making the mobility industry more efficient, transparent, and sustainable.
Build by Malaysian with the ambition to scale beyond.
As we embark on our 12th year, our mission remains clear: to build a smart mobility ecosystem that seamlessly connects cars with service, repair, marketplace, roadside assistance, and the digital experiences drivers now expect.
We constantly finding ways and means to enhance customer experience, every time, all the time. At Bateriku, we don’t just help people get moving; we help the entire industry to a brand new standard.
