Bateriku Joins Karnival MEGA JPJ MADANI 2026: Celebrating 80 Years of JPJ

This participation reflects a shared commitment to strengthening a more modern and competitive transportation ecosystem in Malaysia.

Bateriku at Mega JPJ MADANI Carnival 2026: Celebrating 80 Years of JPJ, Brings Communities Together in Batu Kawan

The carnival took place over three days, from April 24 to April 26, 2026, at Stadium Batu Kawan in Penang. Held in collaboration with Karnival Jom Heboh (KJH), the event was further enlivened with a wide variety of trending food and beverages, along with performances by renowned local artists such as Siti Nurhaliza and Awie.

With a target of 300,000 visitors, the carnival successfully brought together a wide range of engaging activities in conjunction with the 80th anniversary of the Road Transport Department Malaysia (RTD).

Road Safety Awareness

The celebration began with a special khutbah jumaat at Masjid Ar-Rayyan, Bandar Cassia, Batu Kawan, themed “Compliance with Road Laws is a Trust of Life, a Responsibility of Faith.” It emphasized the importance of discipline, responsibility, and courteous behavior among road users to ensure collective safety. Besides that, the exchanging program of old helmets with new helmets and free motorcycle oil services underwent at the stadium with people lined up to benifit this initiative.

Official Launch by the Prime Minister and MyJPJ App Reintroduction

The second day marked the official launch of the carnival by Malaysia’s 10th Prime Minister, Dato' Seri Utama Anwar Ibrahim. The event was also attended by YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow, Pulau Pinang Chief Minister, YB Tuan Loke Siew Fook, Minister of MOT, YBhg. Tan Sri Shamsul Azri bin Abu Bakar, Chief Secretary of State, YB Datuk Haji Hasbi bin Habibollah, Deputy Minister of MOT, YBhg. Dato’ Seri Jana Santhiran Muniayan, Chief Secretary of MOT, YBhg. Dato’ Aedy Fadly bin Ramli, Ketua Pengarah Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia and distinguished members of RTD Malaysia.

In his speech, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of integrity, continuous improvement in public service delivery, and addressing current challenges, including the global energy crisis. The MADANI Government also reaffirmed its commitment through various initiatives, such as fuel subsidies and the proposed reduction of road tax for diesel vehicles.

Rebranding of Skuad Sahabat JPJ

The rebranding of Skuad Muda JPJ to Skuad Sahabat JPJ reflects a more progressive and holistic approach, combining advocacy, education, and technology to improve road law compliance.

At the same time, Awie was announced as the Icon of Skuad Sahabat JPJ, helping to amplify road safety awareness in a way that resonates more closely with the public.

Overwhelming Response On Plate Number Sales

The final day featured the JPJ Fun Run 2026, which attracted 2,500 participants. The event promoted a healthy lifestyle while strengthening the relationship between JPJ personnel and the community.

In addition, the sale of remaining vehicle registration numbers drew an overwhelming response. Visitors arrived as early as 6:00 AM to secure their preferred numbers, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere at the sales area.

Successful Conclusion to Mega JPJ MADANI Carnival 2026

The carnival concluded on a high note after three successful days. It delivered a wide range of impactful programs, including JPJ services, road safety advocacy, and digital initiatives, effectively bringing the department closer to the people in line with the Malaysia MADANI vision.

Bateriku played an active role in engaging visitors through an interactive booth featuring a Mystery Box activity, where lucky participants received vouchers worth up to RM100. More importantly, Bateriku served as the official roadside assistance provider throughout the event. The BHero team was on standby to assist visitors facing vehicle issues, ensuring a smooth and safe experience for everyone attending the carnival.

A Continued Commitment to Road Users

Bateriku’s participation in the Mega JPJ MADANI Carnival 2026 reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting government initiatives and ensuring the safety and well-being of road users across Malaysia.

Moving forward, collaborations like this are expected to continue, in line with the event’s theme, “Setia Demi Pertiwi” (Loyalty to the Nation).
