Just last week, one of our dedicated Bateri Heroes (BHero) in Georgetown, Penang, showed us exactly what it means to go above and beyond for our customers.   It was early Friday morning, the 28th of May, when Saiful, one of our BHeros, received a unique phone call. The voice on the other end wasn’t a typical customer inquiry. It was an elderly mother, requesting a car battery delivery for her son. But here’s the twist: she didn’t just want a battery. She wanted Saiful, the person on the line, to hand-deliver it as a special birthday present!   At first, Saiful was surprised, but as he listened to her heartfelt request, he couldn’t help but be moved. The mother wanted her son’s gift to stand out – an unexpected yet practical surprise. She even asked if the battery could be wrapped like a proper present. Without hesitation, Saiful smiled and roped in fellow BHero, Khairul, to help turn this delivery into something truly memorable.   They got to work, carefully selecting the right battery based on the mother’s description of her son’s car model. Before heading out, they made a quick stop at a nearby bookstore to get the gift wrapped. The pair treated this delivery like a mission – one that would mark a first in Bateriku’s seven-year history - delivering a car battery as a birthday present.   Moments like these fuel our passion for delivering not just car batteries but genuine joy and connection.
