Malaysia Must Shift from User to Creator

In her keynote address, Deputy Minister of Economy Dato Hajjah Hanifah Hajar Taib described VIFE as a strategic platform for building a resilient economy. She stated that Malaysia must move from being a technology user to becoming a technology creator, especially through stronger Bumiputera companies in future focused sectors.

She highlighted how RMK13 and PuTERA35 complement each other in building a productivity driven, digitally powered, green and high value economy. She also noted VentureTECH’s role in helping local companies reach global standards. Innovation, she said, must answer real needs, including disaster response and emergency support through drone technology and smart systems.

Her message was clear. Competitive advantage today depends on the ability to create value, operate efficiently, and solve real world problems. The future will be shaped by the decisions and partnerships we build now.

Bateriku: Driving Innovation On The Road

At Bateriku, our mission aligns strongly with VIFE 2025. We serve road users every day, and we innovate not for trends but for impact. We introduced BHero, a crowdsourced technician model inspired by the efficiency of food delivery platforms. This expands job opportunities for local talents while keeping roadside assistance fast and affordable. For our BGarage customers, we rolled out Pick N Drop and Drop N Go services to save time and remove the hassle of car maintenance.

On the digital front, our system now allows customers to request help within seconds. By simply sharing a car plate number, the platform identifies the car brand and the correct battery type. Customers can choose from a wide range of products, including our GPA Takaful covered Astra, Century, Amaron and more. Everything starts from a simple form on our website. These solutions allow Malaysians to get 24/7 on demand assistance, anywhere in the country.
