SHAH ALAM, 14 May 2026 – Bateriku (M) Sdn Bhd and Tourism Selangor Sdn Bhd today formalized a strategic collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) aimed at strengthening road travel safety and supporting the digital tourism ecosystem in Selangor.
The MoC signing ceremony took place at Bangunan Darul Ehsan and was signed by Chua Yee Ling, Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Selangor, and Azarol Faizi, Chief Executive Officer of Bateriku.

The partnership marks a significant step towards enhancing the overall travel experience in Selangor by integrating automotive assistance services into the state’s tourism and mobility initiatives. Through this collaboration, both parties aim to provide travelers with greater peace of mind while encouraging safer and smarter road journeys across Selangor.
Under the MoC, Bateriku and Tourism Selangor will collaborate on a series of joint marketing and promotional initiatives centered around the concept of “Safe Tourism.” This includes Bateriku’s participation as the Official Roadside Assistance Partner for major Tourism Selangor events and festivals.
A key focus of the collaboration will be digital ecosystem integration to improve accessibility and response time for tourists requiring roadside assistance. As part of its role, Bateriku will provide a dedicated service response channel for users referred through Tourism Selangor’s digital platforms and extend its Digital Partner model to tourism-related vendors and operators.

Meanwhile, Tourism Selangor will recognize Bateriku as a Strategic Digital Partner within its official tourism ecosystem and facilitate collaboration opportunities between Bateriku and key stakeholders in Selangor’s tourism and hospitality industry.
Speaking at the ceremony, Azarol Faizi, Chief Executive Officer of Bateriku said the collaboration reflects our commitment to supporting safer mobility experiences for both local and international travelers.
