Bullying is more than a personal issue, it is a societal challenge that affects schools, workplaces, communities, and increasingly, the digital world. Creating a safer society requires more than policies alone. It demands collective responsibility, empathy, and the courage to stand up for one another.

With this shared belief, Bateriku proudly joined the Launch Ceremony of the Peka Rasa Anti-Bullying Campaign: "Henti Buli, Mula Peduli", an initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kementerian Belia dan Sukan Malaysia, KBS) and officially launched on 22 July 2026.

The campaign was officiated by YB Dr. Mohammed Taufiq bin Johari, Minister of Youth and Sports, alongside YB Mordi Bimol, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, YBhg. Dato' Rahimi Ismail, Secretary-General of KBS, YBrs. Puan Azura Abidin, Director-General of the National Youth and Sports Department (JBSN), and Saudara Mohd Izzat Afifi Abdul Hamid, President of the Malaysian Youth Council (MBM).

For Bateriku, participating in this initiative reflects a commitment that goes beyond corporate social responsibility, it reinforces our belief that businesses have an important role in shaping safer, more compassionate communities.

Creating a healthy workplace is not simply about compliance, it is about fostering trust, psychological safety, and a culture where every individual feels valued.

Strengthening Character Through Shared Values

Beyond professional development, Bateriku also believes that strong organisational culture begins with strong personal values.

Every month, Bateriku organises Tazkirah sessions that are open to employees across the country through online participation. These sessions lead by Ustaz Wafdi Huzaid provide opportunities for reflection, knowledge sharing, and open discussions on ethical values, compassion, integrity, and personal wellbeing.

While participation remains voluntary, these sessions encourage employees to strengthen mutual understanding, practise empathy, and build positive relationships that extend beyond the workplace.

Supporting the National Peka Rasa Movement

The Peka Rasa campaign carries a simple yet powerful message, "Henti Buli, Mula Peduli".

Its objectives closely align with values that Bateriku believes every organisation should champion:

• Empowering youth to become agents of change against bullying in schools, higher education institutions, workplaces, communities, and cyberspace.
• Encouraging society to move beyond being passive observers by supporting victims and reporting bullying through trusted channels.
• Launching antibuli.my, Malaysia's official digital platform providing educational resources, guidance, and access to support services.
• Strengthening collaboration between government agencies, youth organisations, and strategic partners to expand nationwide awareness.

As one of the campaign's strategic supporters, Bateriku is honoured to stand alongside organisations including Gamuda Land, Siti Khadijah, ZUS Coffee, Vircle, HUST, and Nasken Coffee in promoting a culture of empathy and care.

Extending Support Beyond the Workplace

Supporting anti-bullying initiatives also means taking action where communities need it most.

As part of our commitment to the campaign, Bateriku will participate in selected Peka Rasa programmes organised by KBS while contributing battery vouchers for both cars and motorcycles to encourage greater community participation. Our role in supporting safer communities also extends to the road.

Unfortunately, motorists occasionally encounter situations where they are pressured or intimidated after experiencing vehicle breakdowns, including being forced to accept services from unauthorised roadside operators or irresponsible towing syndicates. Bateriku encourages motorists to seek assistance only from trusted service providers.

Through our nationwide roadside assistance network, we provide transparent, reliable, and professional battery replacement, towing, and vehicle assistance services, helping motorists regain confidence during stressful situations while avoiding unnecessary risks or exploitation. Safety should never end when the engine starts.
