14 October 2025, Kuala Lumpur - Bateriku recently took part in Synology Solution Day 2025, an event that brought together leading organizations focused on making data the core of every industry’s transformation.
As Bateriku continues to expand its operations nationwide and beyond, managing data securely and efficiently has become more critical than ever. With over a million data points handled daily across our ecosystem, we recognize that our growth must be supported by robust, reliable, and future-ready data infrastructure.
Bateriku Strengthens Data Management Capabilities with Insights from Synology Solution Day 2025
Synology, founded in 2000 and marking 25 years in data management, has earned the trust of global clients such as Toyota Vietnam, Shell, and Lotte World. The company’s expertise in Network Attached Storage (NAS) — centralized file-storage systems for businesses, aligns with our vision to strengthen how we handle operational and customer data.
At the event, Synology emphasized four key pillars of modern data management:
- Unified Platform – Simplifying how data is stored, accessed, and shared.
- Built-in Resilience – Ensuring reliability and protection against data loss.
- Operational Simplicity – Streamlining processes for better efficiency.
- Scalable Economics – Allowing systems to grow in step with business needs.
Building Cyber Resilience: Protecting Data Inside and Out
During the session, the Synology team highlighted the importance of building cyber resilience, a strategy that goes beyond technology and involves people, processes, and continuous improvement. Their approach emphasized how organizations can strengthen both internal and external data protection through a structured, proactive framework.
They shared four key focus areas for developing robust cyber resilience:
- 1. Threat Prevention – Deploying advanced malware detection, email filtering, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and next-generation firewalls to stop attacks before they cause harm.
- 2. Data Security – Implementing isolated network environments, encrypted data transmission, strong encryption standards, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems to protect sensitive information.
- 3. Identity & Access Management – Reinforcing access control with Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), privileged access control, and strict user management practices.
- 4. Security Monitoring – Using SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response) and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solutions to detect, analyze, and respond to threats in real time.
The Synology team also underscored the value of regular rehearsals and security audits to ensure systems and personnel remain prepared, compliant, and resilient against evolving cyber threats.
