05 March 2026, Shah Alam - Bateriku’s management team recently organized a Ramadan iftar gathering for all its staff. On 5 March 2026, employees gathered at Paddock 1, TTDI Jaya after a full day of work. Many arrived in traditional attire, including baju melayu, baju kurung, and other cultural outfits, bringing a refreshing vibrancy to the event.

The celebration extended far beyond the main canopy, as the management team also sponsored iftar meals for all Bateriku outlets nationwide. This ensured that the company’s backbone, which are employees working tirelessly in the field, could also share in the Ramadan spirit, feeling the same warmth and sense of celebration as those at headquarters.

While waiting to break fast, the CEO delivered a speech broadcast live to all attendees, including outlet staff nationwide. Key highlights of the address included Bateriku’s growth over more than 12 years, evolving from a small team to nearly 1,000 employees contributing to a brand recognized throughout Malaysia.

The CEO also addressed upcoming economic challenges. Operational costs are expected to rise due to escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, but staff were encouraged to remain dedicated and uphold the quality of service that sets Bateriku apart. He emphasized that customers choose Bateriku not for cheap batteries, but for trustworthy service and high-quality products, a mindset that adds value and distinguishes the brand from competitors.

Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA), Resulullah ﷺ said: “The fasting person has two moments of joy: one wheworn he breaks his fast, and the other when he meets his Lord. He will rejoice because of his fasting.” (source)
At 7:28 PM, guests began enjoying the buffet-style spread. The menu featured nasi tomato paired with ayam masak merah or daging kurma, complemented with acar timun and papadom for added flavor. Additional highlights included chicken and beef satay and char kuey teow, offering variety for those seeking something different.

No iftar is complete without desserts. Guests were treated to fresh fruits and an assortment of traditional kuih, satisfying those with a sweet tooth.
As guests enjoyed their meal and prepared for tarawih prayers, a small fireworks display lit up the grounds of Paddock 1, adding a festive touch to the evening.

Events like this strengthen camaraderie among Bateriku staff, offering opportunities to connect in a relaxed setting and discuss topics beyond work. Such gatherings foster a sense of community and mutual understanding, supporting the company’s commitment to a professional, comfortable, and inclusive workplace.
