17 November 2025, Kuala Lumpur – Bateriku joined the official launch of the Malaysian Standard MS 2754 at Connexion Conference and Event Centre, Bangsar South. The event, led by the Ministry of Digital together with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and Standards Malaysia, marks a major step in strengthening safety, trust, and transparency across the nation’s digital platform ecosystem.
The new MS 2754 series introduces two key documents: General Principles and General Trustworthiness and Safety Requirements for Digital Platforms. These standards form a national framework that guides how sharing economy platforms operate, especially in high-trust, fast-growing sectors.
Bateriku Joins National Launch of MS 2754, Strengthening Digital Trust and Pushing Malaysia’s Mobility Ecosystem Forward
Driving Standards for a Safer, Smarter Digital Economy.
What MS 2754 Means for Digital Platforms
MS 2754 was developed through the Sharing Economy Technical Committee (NSC 03/TC 9), coordinated by the Ministry of Digital, MDEC, and the Department of Standards Malaysia.
The standard focuses on four critical areas:
- User identity verification to ensure authenticity
- Data protection to keep personal information secure
- Transparent dispute resolution for fair user-platform interactions
- Operational safety to prevent fraud and cyber threats
By raising the bar for governance and trust, MS 2754 positions Malaysia to build a stronger digital economy on its road to becoming an AI Nation by 2030.
The launch also featured a Commitment Declaration Session by local digital platforms, including Bateriku, followed by an appreciation ceremony for platforms that completed MDEC’s Sharing Economy Platform Assessment Programme.

Bateriku’s Commitment to MS 2754: Setting the Benchmark for Automotive Mobility Platforms
Leading the Movement for Safer, Trusted Digital Mobility Services
At Bateriku, we are proud to stand among Malaysia’s leading digital platforms committed to MS 2754. This commitment reflects our ongoing mission to shape a secure, trusted, and future-ready mobility ecosystem for Malaysians and beyond.
For years, we have championed the sharing economy in the automotive space, built on a model that empowers gig mobile technicians we call BHeroes. Our ecosystem is designed around people, supported by technology, and driven by a simple purpose: keep Malaysians moving safely and confidently on the road.
This commitment is further strengthened by the leadership of our CEO, Mr. Azarol Faizi, who served as a member of the technical committee on the sharing economy, helping shape the very standards that guide our industry today.

A People-First Model Powered by Technology
Before stepping into the field, every BHero undergoes structured training and certification through Akademi Bateriku. Once trained, they are deployed to our nationwide network of Pitstops, ready to assist customers wherever they are. Our BHeroes do more than replace car batteries. They are trained to handle flat tyres, emergency refuelling, lockouts, and other roadside needs. This people-powered model enables us to deliver fast, reliable, and supportive customer experiences across Malaysia.
Moving the Industry Forward
Our participation in the launch of MS 2754 is not symbolic. It represents our belief that digital platforms must be accountable, transparent, and secure. As one of the first automotive mobility platforms to align with this standard, we aim to lead by example.
We are building a trusted model for the region, one that blends:
- Skilled people
- Reliable technology
- Safe and transparent digital operations
This is how we plan to grow as the leading automotive solution provider in Malaysia and the region.

The Road Ahead: Mobility Reinvented
In a landscape where customer trust is everything, MS 2754 brings much-needed clarity to how digital platforms should operate. For Bateriku, it strengthens our mission to build a mobility ecosystem that is safe, transparent, and ready for the future. We are not waiting for the industry to catch up. We are setting the pace. Bateriku will continue to innovate, train, and expand our network so drivers everywhere can depend on us any time they need support on the road. Because we are more than a tech company.
We are a people-driven mobility platform committed to keeping journeys moving.
