PUTRAJAYA, 31 August 2026 – Bateriku joined the National Day 2026 celebration in Putrajaya by opening a booth at the Jalan Tun Abdul Razak parking area, Tapak Pasar Tani Lama, Precinct 2.
This marked Bateriku’s first participation in the National Day celebration in Putrajaya, following an invitation from Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) (KWAP), a strategic partner of the Ministry of Communications, as part of the 69th National Day celebration.
Bateriku Joins National Day 2026 Celebration in Putrajaya
Bateriku’s participation provided an opportunity to engage directly with Malaysians from across the country while introducing visitors to the latest developments within Bateriku’s ecosystem.
The National Day celebration also offered a meaningful platform for Bateriku to connect with the community beyond its everyday automotive services, bringing its products and solutions closer to Malaysians in conjunction with the country’s 69th National Day.
More Than 100,000 Visitors Gather in Putrajaya for National Day
From as early as Monday morning, 31 August 2026, the area surrounding Dataran Putrajaya was filled with visitors who arrived early to secure the best spots to witness the National Day parade, procession and various performances.
The National Day 2026 celebration attracted more than 100,000 visitors to Putrajaya, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with patriotism and pride for the nation.
Held under the theme ‘Malaysia MADANI: Kesejahteraan Dinikmati’, this year’s celebration featured more than 10,800 participants across 76 contingents, alongside 328 assets, 112 live assets, 22 marching bands and 11 decorated vehicles.
Among the highlights were the participation of the Askar Timbalan Setia Negeri Johor, the SEA Games 2027 contingent and the Orange Economy Sustainability Cluster contingent.
The celebration also featured the “Gema Inovasi MADANI” percussion performance, which brought together Rebana Inovasi and Kompang Inovasi performers, involving 150 percussion participants and 1,500 human graphic participants.
Visitors were also treated to a special performance by Malaysian singer Faizal Tahir, who performed “Aku Berjanji”, the official theme song for National Day and Malaysia Day 2026.
The closing performance, Rentak MADANI, Paluan Tradisi, brought together 2,350 participants, adding to the vibrant and colourful atmosphere throughout the National Day celebration.
The National Day 2026 celebration was honoured by the presence of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, alongside Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia.
Their Majesties arrived at approximately 8am and were welcomed by Prime Minister YAB Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, together with his wife, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, as well as YB Datuk Seri Ahmad Fahmi Fadzil, Chairman of the National Day and Malaysia Day Celebration Main Committee, and his wife, Datin Seri Azrina Puteri Mohamed Mahyuddin.
Upon Their Majesties’ arrival at the Royal Stage, the national anthem, Negaraku, was performed by the Main Guard of Honour Band.
His Majesty the King subsequently inspected the parade and received the Royal Salute from the Guard of Honour of the First Battalion, Royal Malay Regiment, comprising four officers and 103 other ranks.
The celebration also featured a flypast involving five helicopters carrying the Malaysian flag and the flags of the Malaysian Armed Forces, alongside fighter jet performances.
Bateriku Introduces New Products
Following the conclusion of the main National Day ceremony, visitors began gathering around the various booths to explore activities, promotions and attractive giveaways offered by participating strategic partners. For Bateriku, the event provided an opportunity to introduce several new automotive products to the public.
Among the products showcased were the Battery Monitor (BM6), a device that helps vehicle owners monitor their battery condition, and the Portable Battery Charger & Tester, designed to provide a more practical solution for vehicle battery maintenance and testing. In addition to showcasing these new products, Bateriku also distributed exclusive vouchers for car battery purchases to visitors at its booth.
The Bateriku booth continued to draw visitors throughout the day, with attendees also taking the opportunity to explore various promotions offered by other participating brands, including Mamee, BHPetrol, ZUS Coffee, Watsons, Gardenia and more.
For Bateriku, face-to-face engagement with the community remains an important opportunity to better understand motorists’ needs while introducing relevant automotive products and solutions to vehicle owners across Malaysia.
