PUTRAJAYA, 16 April 2026 — Bateriku has officially launched its 250th Pitstop outlet in Presint 15, Putrajaya, further cementing its position as Malaysia's leading battery replacement and roadside assistance service network. The milestone ceremony was graced by YB Senator Datuk Dr. Hajah Fuziah Binti Salleh, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN).

Bateriku Presint 15: A Strategic Gateway to Putrajaya and Selangor
The new Bateriku Presint 15 outlet is located along Jalan Diplomatik 3/1. It occupies a prime position within easy reach of Alamanda Shopping Centre and sits close to the Putrajaya–Selangor border, making it readily accessible to residents near Kampung Datuk Abu Bakar Baginda. The location is poised to serve an estimated 250,000 Putrajaya residents, as well as customers from the surrounding Bangi and Kajang areas.

Targeting high-density communities, Bateriku continues to expand its coverage through a strategic benchmarking standard of one branch per 5km radius. It is an approach designed to optimise response times and meet the growing demand for emergency roadside assistance.
Customers visiting Bateriku Putrajaya will benefit from a comprehensive and flexible payment experience, with options spanning cash, DuitNow QR, debit and credit cards, and Buy Now Pay Later financing through Atome.

While Presint 15 marks the 250th Pitstop milestone, Bateriku is currently operating over 300 branches nationwide. Beyond battery sales, each outlet also serves as a customer service hub for post-purchase support and warranty claims across the country.
Two existing branches, Bateriku Sri Serdang and Bateriku Kajang Taman Sri Jenaris, will complement and support the new Putrajaya location.
Bateriku bukan sekadar bateri
The Bateriku name has long since expanded beyond its origins. The company now offers a broad suite of automotive services including tyre replacement, fuel delivery, locksmith assistance, and tow truck services. In near future, windscreen replacement servis is set to be added to the lineup.

As a responsible service provider, Bateriku is committed to ensuring customers have consistent access to quality, affordable products and services. To this end, the company is actively collaborating with KPDN on several initiatives, including the proposed inclusion of select automotive services under the RAHMAH programme.
Other than that, human capital development remains equally central to Bateriku's growth. To date, the company has trained over 1,500 gig workers through its BHero initiative, many of whom are now deployed across Bateriku outlets nationwide. A number of these graduates have gone further, becoming entrepreneurs in their own right by opening Bateriku franchise branches which further strengthening both the network and their own economic futures.

The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) is fully aligned with Bateriku's direction. As Deputy Minister YB Senator Datuk Dr. Hajah Fuziah Binti Salleh shared:
"This mobile automotive service is not merely a technological innovation, it also contributes to creating flexible employment opportunities and improving the livelihoods of Malaysians."
"KPDN sees this development as a reflection of the growing demand for fast, convenient, and digitally-driven on-demand services that match today's consumer lifestyle. It is in line with the agenda to empower the gig economy and nurture local entrepreneurship."

Before the ceremony concluded, Bateriku took the opportunity to present a contribution to Rumah Bakti Al Kausar, witnessed by YB Senator Datuk Dr. Hajah Fuziah. The organisation is no stranger to the Bateriku family. Just this past January 2026, the same home had received aid from Bateriku ahead of the new school term.
