"At Bateriku, we often ask ourselves one simple yet profoundly meaningful question. “How can we provide vehicle owners with a battery they can truly rely on, not only in terms of performance, but also quality, customer experience, and environmental impact?” Today, we answer that question with the launch of ASTRA Mechanics’ Choice Battery! ASTRA is the first battery brand in Malaysia to obtain SIRIM certification and international IEC 60095 standard. for all 28 SKUs, whether they are MF, EFB, or AGM batteries."
Mechanics choose ASTRA because they no longer need to handle customer battery warranty claims themselves. Workshop customers can visit any of Bateriku’s 225 Pitstops nationwide or call the 24-hour Bateriku Hotline, everything will be managed by Bateriku. ASTRA also offers free Takaful Group Personal Accident Insurance coverage of up to RM7,000, the first initiative of its kind in Malaysia’s battery industry. To date, over 1 million ASTRA batteries have been sold in less than three years, a proud achievement for a young local brand.

Alongside the lab, Bateriku operates a network of ICE, Hybrid, and EV workshops to diagnose and resolve vehicle starting issues that aren’t battery-related. For us, quality is not the end it’s the beginning. 11 years ago, we started with a simple mission: to help motorists with battery problems wherever they were. Roadside, at home, or at the office. Today, Bateriku is building a sustainable mobility ecosystem, anchored on:
- Digital Platform: Built in-house, enabling rapid business growth.
- Gig Economy Model: Our trained BHero gig technicians are certified through Akademi Bateriku.
- Entrepreneur Development: The BPreneur program supports rural entrepreneurs, with 100 graduates to date (30% were former BHeroes).
