The launch of Astra was more than just the introduction of a new chapter for Bateriku.com. It was a celebration of a decade-long journey of innovation, service excellence, and building an ecosystem that is shaping the future of the automotive industry in Malaysia.
To mark the occasion, Bateriku invited members of the media for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour, offering a rare opportunity to witness first-hand the operations, facilities, and people that drive the company forward. From cutting-edge labs to adrenaline-pumping motorsports experiences, the day showcased the true scale and diversity of the Bateriku ecosystem.
Inside the Astra Launch: A Full Media Tour of the Bateriku Ecosystem
The media tour began at the Bateriku's warehouse Paddock 2.0, the operational heartbeat that supports the company’s nationwide services. Here, attendees got an up-close look at the logistics and inventory management systems that ensure customers receive timely and reliable service.
The highlight of this first stop was the official launch of the Bateriku Quality Lab. A dedicated space for rigorous product testing to uphold the company’s high standards. This milestone underlined Bateriku’s commitment to delivering only top-quality automotive products, a critical part of building trust with customers.
Bukit Jelutong HQ: Customer Happiness & Digital Backbone
From the warehouse, the media convoy headed to Bateriku’s headquarters in Bukit Jelutong.
The first introduction was to the Customer Happiness Department (CHD). The 24/7, 365-days-a-year contact centre that powers Bateriku’s Awesome Customer Experience (ACE) promise. This is the front line of customer service, where highly trained staff handle inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure every customer feels valued.

Mr. Kamarul, Head of Department (CHD), welcomed the guests and spoke passionately about the department’s role in sustaining customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Next, the group went upstairs to Bateriku Digital, the technology hub and backbone of the company’s operations. This is where integrated systems manage everything from dispatching service fleets to tracking product sales in real time. Our product specialists gave a presentation on the upcoming digital solutions, including innovations for Bateriku’s Digital Partner program and fleet management tools.

Pitstop Visit: Where Operations Meet Customers
The next leg of the journey took the media to the nearest Bateriku Pitstop at TTDI Jaya, a retail store specialising in automotive batteries.
Here, our Operation Manager, Mr. Ali, walked the visitors through the day-to-day workings of the store and field operations. From stocking batteries to coordinating on-site service requests, the pitstop is a tangible touchpoint for customers and an essential link in the Bateriku ecosystem.
By this stage, the media began to see the bigger picture. Every department and location works together in a seamless ecosystem, ensuring customers have access to products and services anytime, anywhere.
Akademi Bateriku & BGarage: Training for the Future
The tour continued to Akademi Bateriku and BGarage, two key facilities focused on training and technical excellence.
Akademi Bateriku is where Bheroes, the company’s skilled mobile service technicians receive continuous training. This ensures they are always prepared to meet the evolving needs of both traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and the growing electric vehicle (EV) market.
At BGarage, Mr Amirul captivated the audience with a live EV repair demonstration, showing the media how advanced diagnostics and precision work go into maintaining electric vehicles.

EV Lab: Hands-On Electric Vehicle Knowledge
A short walk from BGarage brought the group to the EV Lab, a specialised training and showcase space dedicated to EV technology.
Here, every component of an electric vehicle is on display, including parts earmarked for export. The EV Lab is not just for internal training, it’s open to anyone interested in learning about EV systems, making it a hub for knowledge-sharing and industry development.

Motor Maniac: From Drifting Thrills to Lifestyle Culture
As the final segment of the tour, the group visited Motor Maniac, Bateriku’s motorsports and automotive lifestyle partner.
Three media representatives had the chance to experience a drifting drive with up-and-coming motorsports talent Dalela Dasuki. A high-adrenaline moment that had cameras flashing and social feeds buzzing.

The last stop was the Motor Maniac HQ, where rows of project cars were proudly displayed. As a lifestyle brand, Motor Maniac also showcased its merchandise line, blending motorsports culture with fashion and collectibles.

A Decade of Building, A Future of Expansion
The Bateriku ecosystem is the result of more than 10 years of dedication, innovation, and strategic growth. From customer service excellence and digital innovation to hands-on training and lifestyle branding, every element is designed to work together in harmony.
The Astra launch event did nott just introduce a new product or service. It offered a glimpse into the future of the company, one where Bateriku continues to expand its footprint, embrace new technologies, and shape the automotive industry across Malaysia and beyond.
As the day concluded, the media left with a deeper understanding of what makes Bateriku more than just a service provider. It is an ecosystem, one that connects technology, customer experience, training, retail, motorsports, and lifestyle under one vision: connecting the dots.
