About the role?

Take charge of daily workshop operations, lead a skilled team, and ensure every repair meets the highest standards of quality and safety. From managing jobs and inventory to solving customer concerns, you’ll be the driving force behind a smooth, efficient, and customer-focused workshop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all workshop activities, including vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Allocate tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of jobs.
  • Maintain high standards of service quality and adherence to repair protocols.
  • Oversee the proper use of tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems.
  • Lead and manage a team of Service Advisor, Admin & Spare Parts, Senior Technician, and Technician.
  • Assign tasks based on individual skills and expertise.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review goals, updates, and challenges.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members when needed.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and workshop regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
  • Enforce proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
  • Manage workshop inventory (tools, equipment, spare parts).
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained and calibrated.
  • Maintain accurate records of repair jobs, parts used, and service details.
  • Generate and analyze workshop performance and efficiency reports.
  • Provide management with regular updates on workshop operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as Supervisor in automotive workshop operations/vehicle repair.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Good technical knowledge in diagnostics, repairs, and equipment.
  • Familiar with safety standards and compliance.
  • Minimum Diploma in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering (advantage).
  • Valid driving license.
