About the role?

The Sales and Administrative Executive (Insurance) manages daily insurance operations, handles customer inquiries, maintains accurate policy records, monitors sales performance, and prepares reports to support management decisions and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement efficient administrative procedures to streamline insurance operations and customer service.
  • Execute and monitor subordinate handling of incoming and outgoing calls or emails from customers regarding insurance enquiries.
  • Follow up with customers for new projects (Bateriku Insurance Route User – BIRU).
  • Organize and monitor a filing system for the client database.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all insurance policies and correspondence in the company database.
  • Monitor sales performance for insurance policies (new and renewal).
  • Respond to queries from the manager.
  • Execute daily sales and administrative tasks.
  • Prepare and deliver regular insurance and sales forecasting reports.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on new policies, renewals, and insurance costs to management for review and decision-making.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in insurance operations, customer service, or administrative support.
  • Strong understanding of insurance processes, policy management, and customer engagement.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and capable of preparing reports and forecasts.
  • Experience handling customer inquiries via calls, email, or online channels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and filing systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience in insurance sales or renewal processing is an added advantage.
