Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business and technical requirements to design comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Perform end-to-end testing of digital products across multiple platforms (web, mobile, responsive design).
- Execute manual testing for functional, UI/UX, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts (as applicable) using any suitable tools.
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Validate bug fixes and regression test impacted areas in each release cycle.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Ensure defects are accurately documented and tracked using tools like Jira.
- Assist in planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Provide QA sign-off and support production deployments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of QA experience in a digital or software development environment.
- Strong experience in testing websites, CMS platforms, and mobile apps.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience with issue tracking and test case management tools (ex: Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Hands-on experience with basic automation tools or scripting (ex: Selenium, Cypress).
- Familiarity with API testing and RESTful services.
