About the Job
This is an ideal opportunity for a student currently pursuing their studies looking for hands-on, practical experience. You will be passionate about building products and adaptable enough to learn and work across multiple technologies.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge in at least one modern backend language (such as Python, PHP, Node js/JavaScript, or Go) combined with an eagerness to learn other stacks.
- Good understanding of HTML5 / CSS3/ JavaScript (ES6+)
- Basic understanding of relational databases (such as MySQL or PostgreSQL) and core API design principles (REST/GraphQL).
- Passionate about leveraging AI coding assistants (like Cursor, Copilot, or ChatGPT) to accelerate technical learning and enhance developer productivity.
Responsibilities
- Cross-Stack Development: Assist in building user-facing features across web platforms, including writing Python backend microservices, building Node js API endpoints, and contributing to Laravel applications.
- AI Tool Integration: Actively experiment with and utilize AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor) to generate boilerplate code, write tests, and refactor code under senior guidance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to translate product requirements into clean, maintainable code.
- API Management: Learn to design, build, and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs to connect backend services with frontend applications.
- Code Quality & Workflow: Follow best practices for Git version control, participate in peer code reviews, engage in pair-programming, and attend daily stand-ups.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging programming languages and AI models, proposing ideas to integrate new AI assistants into the team's daily workflow.
