About the role?

A customer-focused sales professional with strong communication skills and a cooperative attitude. Capable of managing sales operations, customer inquiries, and insurance documentation while working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • SALES & CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and messages related to insurance enquiries.
  • Follow up with customers on new and existing insurance projects, including Bateriku Insurance Route User (BIRU).
  • Prepare quotations and insurance policy requests based on customer requirements.
  • Proactively follow up with customers for policy renewals (vehicle insurance and road tax) prior to expiry dates.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and cross-selling opportunities.
  • SALES TARGET & PERFORMANCE
  • Achieve individual monthly sales target of minimum RM50,000 gross premium.
  • Meet sales targets set by the supervisor, in terms of both quantity and quality.
  • Make a minimum of 30 outgoing calls per day for lead follow-up, customer acquisition, and renewal reminders.
  • REPORTING & ADMINISTRATION
  • Prepare daily and monthly sales reports accurately.
  • Monitor and maintain sales records for new and renewal insurance policies.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on new policies, renewals, and insurance costs to the manager.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all insurance policies and correspondence in the company database.
  • PAYMENT & SYSTEM MANAGEMENT
  • Prepare and execute insurance-related payments.
  • Manage departmental payment records using the accounting system (EPR).
  • Manage and respond to customer enquiries via Chatwoot, WhatsApp, and OS Ticket platforms in a timely manner.
  • COMPLIANCE
  • Ensure all activities comply with company requirements, SOPs, and established guidelines.

Requirements

  • High integrity with the ability to foster sincerity and mutual trust.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to analyze information and present clear recommendations to management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data tracking.
  • Familiar with insurer portals such as Etiqa Takaful, Allianz, and Zurich Takaful.
  • Familiar with internal lead management and customer support systems (Chatwoot, OS Ticket).
  • Strong teamwork and cooperative attitude.
