About the role?

The Finance Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of financial management, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and accounting operations. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and strategic thinking to support the company’s financial health and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management & Reporting.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the consolidation of group financial results and prepare management dashboards and performance analysis.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Monitor actual performance against budget and highlight key variances.
  • Provide financial projections and analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Treasury & Cash Flow Management.
  • Monitor daily cash flow and working capital requirements.
  • Manage liquidity to ensure optimal cash utilization and financial stability.
  • Support banking relationships and treasury operations.
  • Compliance & Audit.
  • Ensure full compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and internal control policies.
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process efficiently.
  • Oversee the implementation of internal controls and financial risk management practices.
  • Accounting Operations.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting teams handling general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and payroll functions.
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting adjustments.
  • Ensure appropriate accounting treatment for complex or non-routine transactions.
  • Leadership & Team Development.
  • Provide strong leadership, direction, and coaching to the finance and accounting team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is required.
  • 7–12 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including at least 3 years in a managerial or controlling role.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
