About the Job
This role is responsible for supporting the market penetration and growth of Astra, Bateriku’s battery brand, within the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and REM (Replacement Equipment Market) segments, while also managing and developing cooperative-related business opportunities. The Executive focuses on expanding Astra’s adoption across OEM partners, distributors, workshops, fleets, and trade channels, while supporting broader engagement, partnerships, and commercial activities with cooperatives. The objective is to increase Astra’s brand presence, sales volume, and credibility in OEM & REM markets while strengthening cooperative business networks and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Automotive Studies, or a related field.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Automotive Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in OEM, REM, automotive, FMCG, business development, cooperative management, or channel partnerships.
- Experience working with distributors, workshops, trade channels, cooperatives, fleet operators, or strategic business partners is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of sales operations, market expansion, channel development, and
- stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in partnership development, trade marketing, or commercial activation programs.
- Familiarity with cooperative business ecosystems, automotive aftermarket industries, or fuel related business operations is preferred.
- Experience in preparing business proposals, presentations, and performance reports.
- Possess own transportation and willingness to travel for partner visits, business meetings,
- activations, and market development activities.
Responsibilities
- Identify and support onboarding of OEM, REM distributors, workshops, fleet operators, and channel partners to expand market penetration and business growth.
- Coordinate product setup activities including pricing, ordering processes, branding implementation, POSM deployment, and partner activation programs.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure product availability, logistics readiness, operational support, and service delivery excellence.
- Develop and manage business opportunities with cooperatives, cooperative networks, fuel operators, and strategic partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cooperative management, OEM principals, distributors, workshops, and other key stakeholders.
- Coordinate business proposals, partnership agreements, engagement programs, and commercial initiatives with external partners.
- Execute trade promotions, sales campaigns, incentive programs, roadshows, training sessions, and product activation activities.
- Monitor sales performance, market coverage, and partner productivity across channels and regions.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence on competitors, pricing trends, customer requirements, and industry developments.
- Ensure brand positioning, messaging, and business objectives are consistently implemented across all channels.
- Prepare business reports, presentations, proposals, onboarding documents, and management updates.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, trackers, and ensure compliance with internal reporting requirements.
