About the role?

This role is responsible for supporting the market penetration and growth of Astra, Bateriku’s in-house battery brand, within the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and REM (Replacement Equipment Market) segments. The Executive focuses on expanding Astra’s adoption across OEM partners, distributors, workshops, fleets, and trade channels by coordinating onboarding, sales activation, operational readiness, and partner engagement. The objective is to increase Astra’s brand presence, sales volume, and credibility in both OEM and REM markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, onboard, and support OEMs, REM distributors, workshops, and fleet partners for Astra battery.
  • Assist in expanding Astra coverage across targeted OEM and REM segments.
  • Coordinate Astra product setup, including pricing, ordering processes, branding, and POSM deployment.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure product availability, logistics readiness, and technical support.
  • Execute trade promotions, incentive programs, and sales activation initiatives to drive Astra adoption.
  • Support product launches, roadshows, training sessions, and technical briefings.
  • Track sales performance by partner, channel, and region.
  • Provide recommendations to improve sell-through and repeat orders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM principals, distributors, and workshop operators.
  • Act as the main coordination point for Astra-related partner communications and follow-ups.
  • Support issue resolution related to operations, supply, pricing, and product feedback.
  • Collect market insights on competitor battery brands, including pricing, promotions, and specifications.
  • Monitor OEM and REM market trends and customer requirements.
  • Ensure consistent Astra brand positioning and messaging across all channels.
  • Maintain updated trackers for partners, outlets, and Astra sales performance.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for management.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, onboarding documents, and review materials.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all reports and internal updates.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in OEM, REM, automotive, FMCG, or channel partnerships preferred.
  • Experience working with distributors, workshops, or trade channels is an added advantage.
  • Understanding of the automotive aftermarket, battery, OEM, and REM channels.
  • Strong sales coordination and partner management skills.
  • Ability to execute trade marketing and market penetration strategies.
  • Strong analytical thinking with disciplined reporting skills.
  • Willingness to travel for partner visits, activations, and market development.
