About the role?

The Assistant Manager – Finance will be responsible for supporting the financial health and stability of the organization through effective financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and compliance oversight. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS or GAAP.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Monitor actual spending against budget and report variances.
  • Provide financial projections and support strategic planning initiatives.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity requirements.
  • Manage treasury activities including payments and collections.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and internal policies.
  • Liaise with external auditors and support the audit process.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting.

Requirements

  • Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification preferred (CA / ACCA / CPA / CMA / MBA in Finance).
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or auditing.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, reporting standards, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
