Bateriku.com is seeking a skilled APPLICATION INTEGRATION & PARTNERSHIP SPECIALIST - SMART CITIES to join our SPECIAL PROJECT (INNOVATION) department.
Key Responsibilities
- 1.System Integration & API Management
- • Develop, manage, and maintain API integrations between smart city
- platforms, IoT devices, and third-party applications.
- • Ensure seamless interoperability between multiple urban infrastructure solutions, including traffic management, energy grids, and smart surveillance.
- 2. IoT & Data Connectivity
- • Work with IoT sensor providers to integrate real-time data streams into smart city dashboards.
- • Ensure data collected from various smart city touchpoints (e.g., parking systems, waste management, public transport) are properly structured and accessible.
- 3. Cloud & Edge Computing
- • Manage the deployment of cloud-based and edge computing solutions for smart city applications.
- • Collaborate with cloud service providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) to optimize data processing.
- 4. Cybersecurity & Compliance
- • Ensure compliance with local and international smart city data protection and cybersecurity regulations.
- • Implement secure API authentication protocols and encryption techniques.
- 5. Project Management & Stakeholder Coordination
- • Work closely with city councils, government agencies, and private sector stakeholders to ensure alignment of integration projects.
- • Coordinate with software vendors and internal teams to implement smart city solutions.
- 6. Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- • Monitor API performance and troubleshoot integration issues.
- • Continuously optimize integration frameworks for scalability and efficiency.
Requirements
- • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
- Software Engineering, or a related field.
- • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in system integration, API development,
- cloud computing, or IoT applications.
- • Technical Skills:
- o Proficiency in API development (RESTful APIs, GraphQL).
- o Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure).
- o Knowledge of IoT protocols (MQTT, Zigbee, LoRa, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).
- o Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
- o Hands-on experience with smart city applications is a plus.

- o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- o Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.
- o Excellent communication and documentation skills.
